Jalili urges proper management of national potentialities

Iranian presidential candidate Saeed Jalili has stressed the importance of managing national potentialities to resolve the ongoing problems in the country.
Today, you see a number of major problems that all the people are facing. Why should it be like this? The problem of high prices, the problem of unemployment, the problem of housing and problems like this, he said in an address in a mosque in southeast Tehran on Wednesday.

Cant the existing potential in our country really manage such issues? What I am saying is not just a claim. It is an accurate assessment based on an evaluation of all the potentialities in the country, he stated.
If we rightly manage our potentialities, many of these problems will not even emerge.
Jalili, who is also the secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council (SNSC), reiterated that the Iranian youths can themselves become entrepreneurs if these problems are properly resolved.

The fact that the Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei named the previous Iranian calendar year (ended March 20, 2013) as the year of support for national production is itself a plan that should be a guideline and motto for all the officials of the Islamic establishment, particularly those of the executive branch and the administration, he pointed out.

Jalili currently faces seven rivals in the June 14 presidential election, namely former Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Velayati, lawmaker Gholam-Ali Haddad-Adel, Secretary of the Expediency Council Mohsen Rezaei, Tehran Mayor Mohammad-Baqer Qalibaf, President of the Strategic Research Center of the Expediency Council Hassan Rohani, former First Vice President Mohammad-Reza Aref, and former Telecommunications Minister Mohammad Gharazi.
