Iran slams EU over lifting arms embargo on Syria militants
Irans Foreign Ministry has slammed the European Union decision to lift its arms embargo on the militants operating inside Syria as a hasty and dangerous measure. On Monday, European Union foreign ministers agreed, after lengthy talks among divided ministers in Brussels, to lift the arms embargo on the militants in Syria.

 
Iran presidential candidate slams TV anchor over nuclear lies
Iranian presidential candidate and former chief nuclear negotiator Hassan Rohani slammed a state television anchor for perpetuating lies after he was accused during a live interview of halting the progress of the countrys nuclear program. In essence everything was suspended, said the TV interviewer facing Rohani in aprogramaired late yesterday as part of the candidates allotted campaigning slot. Iranian candidate: Current nuke talks fruitless
A former commander in Irans Revolutionary Guard now running for president says current nuclear talks between Tehran and world powers are at a hopeless deadlock.

Mohsen Rezaei vowed at a news conference Tuesday to change the dialogues course, calling the present effort fruitless because of tightening international sanctions.

 
Larijani reappointed as Iranian parliament speaker
Ali Larijani has been reappointed as the speaker of Iranian Parliament. Some 213 out of 252 members of the parliament voted in favor of him. According to Mehr news agency, Larijani became the parliament speaker for next four years with 213 votes in favor, 13 against and 26 abstentions.
