Iran ‘Emergency Exit’ to compete at Detmold short Filmfest
Iranian short screen production Emergency Exit directed by Mehdi Jafari is set to compete at the 9th International Short Film Festival (ISFF) Detmold, Germany.
Jafari’s Emergency Exit tells the story of a little boy who escapes the first day of school and depicts the consequent incidents.

Produced by Iran’s House of Art, the film has been screened in many international events so far.

The movie along with some other productions represented Iran at the 2013 International Children's Film Festival in the Indian city of Lucknow.

Emergency Exit was also presented in Short Shorts Film Festival and Asia (SSFF & ASIA) in the Japanese capital, Tokyo.

Short Film Festival Detmold is annually held to host different film genres including fiction, experimental, animation, documentary and music clips.

The 2013 International Short Film Festival Detmold is scheduled to take place from May 31 to June 9.
