Six Iranian tourists killed in Iraq

BAGHDAD, May 25 (KUNA) -- Six Iranian religious tourists were killed when a booby-trapped car was detonated in Salah Al-Deen province, north of Baghdad, on Saturday, a police source said.
The explosion took place in Is-haqi area while the Iranian tourists were driving to the city of Samarra' to visit a Shiite shrine, the source told KUNA.

The explosion killed six Iranians and injured 19 others, he added. Besides Samarra', Iranian religious tourists visit Shiite shrines in Kufa, An-Najaf, Karbala and Baghdad.
