An�earthquake�measuring�5.1�on�the�Richter�scale�jolted southern�Iran�at�2244�GMT�on�Thursday�( 0644�Beijing�Time�on�Friday),�the�U.S.�Geological Survey�said.
The�epicenter,�with�a�depth�of�9.80�km,�was�initially�determined�to�be�at�27.2095�degrees�northlatitude�and�53.6110�degrees�east�longitude.
