TEHRAN, May 20 (Bernama) -- Head of the Islamic Parliament's National Security and Foreign Policy Commission Ala'eddin Boroujerdi said here Sunday that holding national dialogue in Syria can put an end to massacre of the innocent people and bloodshed there, Iran's IRNA reported.
Boroujerdi made the comment in a meeting with New Zealand Prime Minister's top advisor, Tim Webster.

In the meeting the two officials emphasised the need for expansion and strengthening of bilateral ties and cooperation.

"There are appropriate fields for political, economic, and cultural cooperation between Iran and New Zealand, among which the expansion of parliamentary relations can pave the path for taking advantage of the entire other potentials as well," Boroujerdi said.
