Irans Khorasan Razavi, Afghanistans Herat to sign cultural, economic MoUs
Iran's Khorasan Razavi and Afghanistan's Herat Province plan to sign three memorandums of understanding in different fields including economy, culture, and development.
The MoUs are supposed to be signed at the sidelines of an Iranian delegation's visit to Herat, the ISNA News Agency reported.

Khorasan Razavi's Governor General Mohammad Hossein Forouzanmehr heads the Iranian delegation during the trip.

Iranian goods are mostly exported to Afghanistan via Herat province.

Afghan Ambassador in Tehran Dr. Nasir Ahmad Noor said in February that Iran and Afghanistan maintain a $30 billion non-oil trade.

The ambassador noted that the trade between Iran and Afghanistan is growing. He said that Afghanistan is being re-built, and there are good opportunities for traders and investors.

Ambassador Noor also said that there are about 500 Iranian companies registered in Afghanistan, whose work spreads to all areas.
