Iran is planning to participate in the 9th biennial Beijing International Garden Expo, displaying the countrys traditional architecture and culture.
Iran is slated to offer a traditionally designed structure titled Pardis Pars which demonstrates blended architectures inspired from several Iranian historical monuments with traditional structures.
Pardis Pars features Irans Bam Citadel (Arg-e Bam) near the city of Kerman, entrance corridor of Sheikh Lotfollah Mosque and the schematic diagram used in Four Gardens (Char-Bagh) in Isfahan.
The event will also host Persian handicrafts, cultural heritage and various forms of Iranian carpets to introduce the true image of Iranian civilization and traditions.
This years expo on the theme of Green Symphony, Heyday Garden will also present Japanese Garden, Indian Garden, Islamic Garden and many others representing the countries such as Austria, the Netherlands, North Korea, Russia, Egypt and Thailand.
The 9th China (Beijing) International Garden Expo is scheduled to be held in the International Garden Exposition Ezhou Park from April to October, 2013.
