Iranian freestyle wrestler Parviz Hadi has won the gold medal at the 26th Asian Wrestling Championships in India.
On Sunday, Hadi beat Jargalsaikhany Chuluunbat from Mongolia to grab the gold medal in the 120-kilogram freestyle category at the final held at the Indira Gandhi Sports Complex in New Delhi.

Moreover, the Iranian Greco-Roman wrestling team has bagged three silver and two bronze medals to finish in the fourth place in the tourney.

More than 20 countries are taking part in the 2013 Asian Wrestling Championships which kicked off on April 18 and will continue until April 22.

This is the sixth time India is hosting the event.
