WHO regional art competition honors Iranian artists
The Regional Office for the Eastern Mediterranean of the World Health Organization (WHO) has released names of Iranian winners of the years art competition.
The organization announced names of five Iranian artists as the winners of the WHO regional art competition for World Health Day which was on Sunday, April 7.

Maryam Safaimanesh garnered the first prize while the second prize went to Sahra Qasesmi.

Samaneh Shakeri Yousefi picked up the third prize and fourth prize was presented to Hamta Yazdani Amiri.

Moreover, Hamid Reza Keyvanmehr won the fifth prize of this years competition.

The competition was centered on the theme of hypertension for elementary and high school students in Iran, Bahrain, United Arab Emirates, Egypt, Morocco and Oman.

Names of winners were listed on the website of the WHO Regional Office for the Eastern Mediterranean which includes five artists selected from each participated country.

The World Health Organization (WHO) which is concerned with international public health was established on 7 April 1948, with headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland.

The organization is also responsible for the World Health Report, a leading international publication on health, the worldwide World Health Survey, and World Health Day (April 7 of every year).
