Tehran hosts 8th intl. robotics competition
The 8th international robotics competition continues in Tehran. Qazvin Azad University alongside the Deputy Research center of Tehrans Azad University in cooperation with the Iranian RoboCup National Committee have sponsored this event.
320 domestic and 70 international teams from 14 countries such as the Netherlands, China, Italy and the US have entered this competition. Irans Robot Open is one of the 9th premier robotics competitions worldwide and the largest in West Asia.All types of robots can been at the competition such as humanoids, 3d and 2d simulation robots and drones. Many believe in the future robots programmed with artificial intelligence will be able to perform and function all tasks human beings can do.
