ISLAMABAD: Provincial Information Minister Sharjeel Memon on Sunday said that Iran-Pakistan gas pipeline project would bring prosperity for the people of this region.
He said that the government had made this agreement for the people of this region.

Talking to a private television channel, he said that the government had taken many steps to maintain law and order situation and control terrorism.

He said that NFC award was the achievement of the federal government.

He said that floods played havoc in different parts of the country and destroyed the infrastructure.

Sharjeel Memon said that despite global recession in the past years, Pakistan had made progress in different sectors.

Kashmala Tariq of Pakistan Muslim League Hum Khyial Group said that there was need to focus on good governance to provide relief to the masses.

She said that credit goes to all the political parties for the completion of the constitutional tenure of the government.

She said that there was serious need to streamline the affairs in different sectors including energy.

Senator Haji Adeel said that the government with the help of Army had brought peace back in Swat and Malakand areas.

He said that the government after coming into power had to face many challenges like terrorism and floods.

Replying to a question he said that Khyber Pakhtunkhawa government had spent huge amount for the establishment of new educational institutions in the area. He said that focus was also given to meet the demand in the energy sector.

Rana Sanaullah of Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz said that Punjab government made efforts for the welfare of the people of the province.
