Iranian boxer Siavash Omidi has collected a silver medal for Iran in the 2013 ASBC Asian Confederation Youth Boxing Championships in the Philippines.
On Saturday, Omidi conceded a defeat against his Kazakh rival in the minus 81-kilogram weight class, and finished second in a bout at the gym in the coastal town of Subic.

The 2013 ASBC Asian Confederation Youth Boxing Championships started on March 10, and wrapped up on March 17.

The event brought together participants from 26 countries, including China, Iran, Uzbekistan, and Kazakhstan.

Singapore, Macau, Hong Kong and Bangladesh took part in the 2013 ASBC Asian Confederation Youth Boxing Championships for the very first time.
