ABU DHABI // The UAE President, Sheikh Khalifa, has received a note from the Iranian president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad regarding the countries' bilateral relations and issues of common interest, the state news agency, Wam,reported today.
The letter was received by Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs, at a meeting with Mohammed Reza Fayad, the Iranian ambassador to the UAE.
They discussed ways to enhance and develop the bilateral relations between the UAE and Iran and other areas of common interest. The meeting was also attended by Rashid Saeed Al Amri, undersecretary for the government coordination department at the Ministry of Presidential Affairs.
