Ahmadinejad to visit Pakistan to inaugurate IP gasline construction

Tehran - Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad is slated to pay a visit to Islamabad in March to attend a ceremony to inaugurate construction of the Pakistani side of the Iran-Pakistan (IP) gas pipeline, reported Farce News Agency on Saturday. President Ahmadinejad will travel to Pakistan this month to inaugurate construction of the Pakistani side of the IP pipeline.
It is for many years that Iran and Pakistan are cooperating in energy and electricity fields. On Thursday, President Asif Ali Zardari wrapped up a two-day visit to Tehran during which he discussed bilateral ties and regional developments with Iranian officials.
