Baku. Konul Jafarli APA. 16 persons were executed in Shiraz, Arak and Tehran cities of Iran last week.APAreports quoting RadioFarda that those executed were convicted of drug smuggling and rape.
12 were executed in Shiraz, 3 in Arak and 1 in Tehran. The official website of Revolutionary Court in Shiraz reported that one of 8 executed persons was woman. Deputy Prosecutor of Fars province Ali Al Qaisi said that 24 people convicted of drug smuggling and rape will be executed in Fars province in the near future.
