Russia believes that Iran could prove the peaceful nature of its nuclear program in case it cooperates with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), Russias ambassador to Tehran Levan Dzhagaryan said.Moscow is strictly opposed to imposing unilateral sanctions against Iran that go beyond the UNSC resolutions.
"This approach slows down the process of settling the countrys pressing issues, the diplomat said, adding that Iranian media regularly report the worsening of the economic situation in the country.
