Iran to reform tax system

The Iranian parliament has formed several committees to check the taxing system, MP Irazh Nadimi said today, Fars reports.
Iran plans to increase tax flows by $4.07 billion the next year (starting on March 21).

$19.547 million of taxes were paid in the first 10 months this year, exceeding the previous year by 17%, Iranian Chief Tax Office Ali Asgar said.

Iran plans to make a total of about $27.7 billion this year. Individuals with income of less than $5800 are free from taxes.
