ISTANBUL:Turkeypurchased $6 billion worth of oil fromIranin 2012 and will continue oil imports from the Islamic Republic,Turkish EnergyMinisterTaner Yildiztold Turkey's CNBC-E television on Friday.
Oncerelianton Iran for more than half its crude oil imports, Turkey has reduced its purchases as theUnited StatesandEuropean Unionhave tightened sanctions on the trade with Tehran.
