Iran's Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi warned against dispatching semi-heavy or even heavy weapons to Syrian rebels apparently by some countries, Mehr News Agency reported today.
According to the report, Salehi said during the Syria National Reconciliation meeting which started in Tehran on Sunday that Iran always attempts to establishing peace in the region, while Tehran has done all to return its establishment in Syria.
Salehi said that Iran recognizes a dialogue and a political approach as the best ways to end the violence in Syria.

The representatives of the Syrian government and what Iran called "opposition" participated in the National Dialogue meeting that is being held in Tehran's Esteglal Hotel.
According to the report, 200 politicians, heads of parties, oppositions and religious figures have participated at the meeting.
Several individuals, including members of Democratic Social Party, Democratic Syria Party, Democratic Laic Party, Independent Youths Association, Kurdish National Front, National Unity Victory Association, and others have taken part in the Tehran meeting.
Among announced figures and parties, there is not anyone from Syria's new opposition coalition leaded by Moaz al-Khatib.
Al-Khatib has been chosen as Syrian oppositions' leader at Qatar's meeting last week.
Salehi said that it is very regrettable that some Syrian opposition groups reject a dialogue with the Syrian government because of some foreign countries' pressure on them.
"Dispatching weapons and financial aid to rebels in Syria would aggravate the situation.
