Iraqi official calls for sharing Iranian experience for Iraqi Kurdistan reconstruction

Development and Housing Minister of Iraqi Kurdistan Region administration on Tuesday called for sharing Iranian experience for reconstruction and development of Iraqi Kurdistan province,IRNAreported.

Addressing the first commission of Iran-KRG Economic Cooperation, Kamran Ahmad called for Iranian partnership in carrying out development projects in Iraqi Kurdistan province.

He said that administration of Iraqi Kurdistan is keen on Iranian partnership in implementing infrastructure projects of oil and gas, health, agriculture, tourism, transport and banking and financial institutes.

He noted that Iraqi Kurdistan province administration is ready to pave the way for the Iranian private and state sectors active participation in building infrastructure.

He said that given the excellent ties between the Iran and Iraqi Kurdistan, the administration is willing to augment trade and commerce with the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Cooperation of the Iranian investors with KRG private sector is one of the areas of cooperation, he said, noting that this will benefit both sides.

The first conference of Iran-Iraqi Kurdistan province Economic Cooperation opened in Erbil on Tuesday and will work for two days.
