By TrendTop negotiators from the six major world powers of the P5+1 are scheduled to meet in Brussels to discuss Iran's nuclear energy program as they are planning to arrange a new round of talks with the Islamic Republic,Press TVreported.
A Western official said that top negotiators from Russia, China, France, Britain, the US and Germany (P5+1) have agreed to meet in Brussels on November 21, the Associated Press reported.
The Brussels meeting will be a prelude to the possible resumption of talks between Iran and the P5+1 early next year.
Helga Schmid, deputy to the EU foreign policy chief Catherine Ashton, who represents the P5+1, said earlier this month that time is "of the essence" in securing an outcome in talks with Iran over its nuclear energy program.
Iran has repeatedly voiced its readiness for negotiations based on mutual respect while maintaining that it will not give up its inalienable rights under any circumstances.
The United States, Israel and some of their allies have repeatedly accused Iran of pursuing non-civilian objectives in its nuclear energy program.
Iran argues that as a signatory to the nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT) and a member of the International Atomic Energy Agency, it is entitled to develop and acquire nuclear technology for peaceful purposes.
