According to the new announcement by Governor of the Province of Qazvin, the Islamic Republic of Iran Mr. Ahmad Ajam, the Iranian raisin is being exported through Turkey.

Unfortunately the process of developing a comprehensive brand for exporting agricultural products has not been defined in our country. Currently the Iranian raisin is being exported by Turkish companies which cut a notable part of revenues could be earned by local companies. In last week we had negotiations with Turkish sides about this matter and they accepted to export our raisins. said Ahmad Ajam, Governor General of Qazvin.

He also urged the Iranian government to devote special finance to agricultural projects in Qazvin province. We need about 5,000,000,000,000 Rials for expanding agricultural projects in Qazvin. Ahmad Ajam added.

Raisin is one of the famous products of Iran. Local companies usually present high quality raisin in international expos. There are several types of raisins being produced in Iran including Sultana, Golden and Black. A raisin is a dried grape. Raisins are produced in many regions of the world and may be eaten raw or used in cooking, baking and brewing.
