Iran to wipe the Israel off the map if Israel insists on military strike

Iranians desire to erase Israel from the world but it was faded during recent years while Israel’s extreme positions strengthen Iran’s will to wipe Israel off the scene of time.

Over the past several years, Iranians are expecting to wipe the Israel off the face of the world. It dates back to before the Islamic revolution. In the past, Iran’s king was criticized for supporting Israel. Iranians have constantly emphasized on aiming to wipe Israel off the map.

In Islam and Holy Qur’an, confronting with Jewish and their final defeat is predicted. After the Islamic revolution, the slogan “death to Israel” is always being used by Iranian officials and people on different occasions. At the height of Iran-Iraq war, the famous slogan “the road to Jerusalem goes through Karbala” indicated that Iranian people firmly believe in inevitability of confrontation with Israel.

Ahmadinejad said in a speech on February 20, 2008: “In the Middle East, they (the global powers) have created a black and filthy microbe called the Zionist regime. He was calling for an end to the occupation of Jerusalem at some point in the Future. He added “Israel should be wiped off the face of the world.” It was first expressed by the Imam Khomeini, leader of the Islamic revolution, that Israel should be erased from the scene of time. While in 2 recent years, Ahmadinejad hasn’t spoken out sharply like before, but Israel’s war rhetoric made Iran to take hard stance toward it.

Before summer 2006 and a 33-day war, Israel is considered as winner. Embattled Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert has lost public support after Israel failed to achieve its goals during last summer’s 33-day war with Hezbollah guerrillas in Lebanon — freeing two captured soldiers and crushing the militant group.

Thereafter military equations have reversed. Then Israelis began to bluff and one of their newest bluffs was attacking against Iran without US permission.

Military strike against Iran would provide the opportunity for Iranians to wipe the Israel off the page of time. It should be noted that Iranian hard liners would welcomed to the attack. In this case, equations would change but it’s unclear how.
