Hegemonic Powers incapable of forecasting events: Larijani

TEHRAN, March 11 (MNA) – Iran’s parliament speaker has said emergence and plurality of powers in today’s world is an international fact and that hegemonic powers cannot foresee the events.
Addressing the International Confab on Role of Islamic World in Global Power Geometry opened in Tehran Tuesday morning Iranian Parliament speaker Ali Larijani said that “hegemonic powers could not predict Egypt uprising which lead Americans to change three different positions.”

Iranian Parliament speaker Ali Larijani, Iraqi former Prime Minister Ibrahim Al-Jaafari, Ammar Al-Hakim leader of  Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq, Ramadan Abdallah, the member of Hamas political office, Hassan Beigi president of National Defense University and Brig. Gen. Hossein Salami IRGC deputy commander attended the meeting.

This confab will go on March 11 and 12. On the sidelines of the main conference, scientific efforts in shaping world geometry, world power geometry development plans and futuristic studies of social concepts will be held as well.
