26 Feb 2014 - 17:42

TEHRAN (FNA)- The Lower House of Parliament on Wednesday voted to expel the Israeli ambassador and to withdraw Jordanian envoy from Tel Aviv, after Israeli Knesset debated "Israeli sovereignty" proposal over holy sites in Jerusalem.

House called on International, Arab and Muslim communities to take action against Israeli violations, Ammonews.net reported.

Members of Parliament voted also in favor of returning compulsory military service in Jordan.

Earlier, 47 Jordanian MPs called to cancel Israel peace treaty over "Knesset al-Aqsa debate".
