Iranian disabled athlete climbs 1,866 stairs of Milard Tower using one hand

Tehran, Dec 2, IRNA – An Iranian disabled athlete Mohammad Gomar in a symbolic move on the occasion of World Day for the Disabled climbed 1,866 stairs of Milad Tower in Tehran using one hand.
The athlete, who was born without feet and left hand, climbed to the top of the tower using only one hand in 39 minutes, 50 second and 91 hundredth setting a new record.


After registering the new record, an medical team present on the scene confirms that the Iranian athlete was in good health.

Milad telecommunication tower is the highest building in Iran.
