Israeli forces open fire at farmers in Southern Gaza

TEHRAN (FNA)- Israeli forces early Sunday shot at Palestinian farmers near Rafah in Southern Gaza, locals said.


Witnesses said Israeli forces opened fire at farmers who were working on their agricultural lands near the Karem Shelom Crossing with Israel, Ma'an reported.

The soldiers also fired smoke grenades, locals said.

No injuries were reported.

Additionally, Israeli reconnaissance drones were reportedly seen flying over Gaza.

A spokeswoman for the Israeli army did not return calls seeking comment.
