Chinese Spokesman: Beijing continues to purchase oil from Iran

Beijing, Nov 22, IRNA – Chinese Foreign Ministry Spokesman strongly opposed to unilateral sanctions against Iran and said that his country would continue to purchase oil from Iran.
Hong Lei, in an interview here said that Iran-China oil cooperation is transparent and clear.

He added this cooperation is not contrary to international regulations and does not harm any other country.

The spokesman said that Tehran-Beijing trade ties are in a clear framework and China cannot accept another countrys sanctions, which is upon its own domestic law, and is strongly opposed to such unilateral sanctions.

China purchases 350 to 450 thousand barrel crude oil daily from Iran.
