“His Ego” by Iranian known novelist, Reza Amirkhani is translated to Russian, unveiled and presented in the, held 5 – 10 September 2013.
Islamic Culture Research Foundation and Veche Publishing House elected the book as the first choice for translating the bestselling Iranian novels to Russian to introduce the Persian literature and culture to their youth.
Amir-Khani has interwoven contemporary history and the process of Iran’s urbanization into this novel which chronicles the life of the protagonist, Ali Fattah, who was born into a well established family in Tehran.
Reza Amirkhani who attended the unveiling ceremony told audience: “Maybe I am not a good representative of Iranian novelist but grandmothers always portray the literature of the nations quite well and “His Ego” is the story my grandmother told me.”
