Iran graphic designer wins at German WorldSkills logo contest

Iranian graphic designer Iraj Asadi has been selected as the winner of Best Designed Logo of the 42nd WorldSkills Competition in Leipzig, Germany.
Asadi’s winning logo was used on the website of the competition. It is also slated to be considered as main symbol of all correspondence and programs of the 42nd WorldSkills Competition.

Over its 60 years history, WorldSkills International (formerly known as the Skill Olympics) has come to symbolize the pinnacle of excellence in vocational training.

The participants represent the best of their peers drawn from regional and national skill competitions at the fair.

Some 1000 competitors along with 2000 experts from about 61 countries are programmed to take part in this year’s event.

The 42nd WorldSkills International Competition will be held in Leipzig, Germany at the Leipzig Fair Exhibition Centre from July 2 to 7, 2013.
