IRNA – President Hassan Rouhani of Iran said on Tuesday that recent victories of the resistance movement against terrorism in Iraq and Syria promises annihilation of terrorism and its development in the region.


Addressing a session of High Council of Cultural Revolution on Tuesday, President Rouhani hailed back-to-back victories in Mosul (Iraq), Aleppo, Tal Afar, Deir ez-Zur (Syria) and Arsal (Lebanon), saying that the accomplishments will also help promote regional cooperation.

Syrian Army on Tuesday announced in an official statement that they broke the siege of Deir ez-Zor in eastern Syria which has been under the control of terrorist group Daesh for three years.
