IRNA – An Iranian rock climber Reza Alipour ranked first in climbing World Cup in Villars, Switzerland, on Saturday.


The Iranian athlete delivered an awe-inspiring performance at this prestigious global championship and registered 5.63 seconds to finish as the champion and snatch the gold medal.

The Climbing World Cup started in Villars on July 7 and wrapped up the following day.

Alipour is slated to attend France's Climbing World Cup in Paris on July 12.
