IRNA – President Hassan Rouhani was officially welcomed by Kuwaiti Emir Sheikh Sabah Ahmad Jaber al-Sabah upon his arrival at Kuwait City International Airport on Wednesday on night.


The Kuwaiti crown prince, prime minister and the entire cabinet members as well as other high-ranking officials of the Persian Gulf country were present in the welcoming ceremony.

The national anthems of Iran and Kuwait were played in the welcoming ceremony.

President Rouhani is slated to go to his place of residence to meet with senior Kuwaiti officials.
