IRNA – Deputy Foreign Minister for Arab-African affairs Hossein Jaberi Ansari paid tribute to Lebanon's resistance martyrs.


Jaberi Ansari who is in Lebanon on an official visit, went to Dahieh region, south of Beirut, on Friday and paid tribute to Lebanon's resistance martyrs including Hezbollah’s martyred commanders Imad Mughniyih and Mustafa Badreddine.

He also held a meeting with the families of resistance martyrs.

During the meeting, Iranian deputy foreign minister wished victory for the Islamic resistance in the region.

Jaberi Ansari arrived in Lebanon on Thursday after visiting Syria.

He met with Lebanese top ranking officials including the country's president, prime minister and parliament speaker.

The official conferred latest developments in the region and Lebanon with the Hezbollah Secretary General Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah.
