SHANA- Managing Director of National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC) Ali Kardor says Iran reserves a high standing in OPEC.
Kardor told a group of NIOC staff, "Iran is now reserving a high position in OPEC; however, we do not contend such a standing and will try to gain more success."


He said the NIOC managed to prove its potential during sanctions and efforts should be made to have better use in the post-sanction era and maximize production.


He underlined the need to attain international standards and said in the way to progress of the petroleum industry, international engagement can be formed swiftly.
