IRNA – Visiting Foreign Minister of Iran Mohammad Javad Zarif discussed issues of mutual interests in a meeting here with Prime Minister Shinzo Abe on Thursday.


The talks focused on the international and regional developments as well as bilateral relations.

Zarif arrived in Tokyo on Tuesday evening (Dec 6) from Beijing where he attended the Iran-China Business Forum 2016.

Zarif is in Japan on the last leg of his three-nation tour to Asia that started on December 3 and has taken him to India and China respectively.

The Iranian foreign minister will leave Tokyo for Tehran on Thursday afternoon.
