Navy’s 43rd fleet returns Jask, navigating north Indian Ocean

BANDAR ABBAS, Oct. 05 (MNA) – The 43rd Fleet of Army’s Navy has been navigating international waters in north of Indian Ocean for 28 days, returned Jask on Wednesday.

Rear Adm. Habibollah Sayyari told reporters that a fleet of Lavan, Falachen, Khanjar, and Konarak chopper carriers had been in mission and navigated about 2,500 nautical miles; “the fleet in Karachi communicated message of peace and friendship to Pakistan; Army’s Navy will provide security for shipping lines in international waters and protect interests of the Islamic Republic of Iran, along with displaying Iran’s glory and strength to the international community,” Sayyari told reporters, quoting Leader’s recommendations.

“Navy represents national glory in the eyes of the world in marine settings,” he added. Navy’s 44th Fleet, consisting of Alvand and Bushehr logistical destroyers, will leave Bushehr to explore uncharted waters today.
