TEHRAN (ISNA)- The executive and commercial document of Arak Heavy Water would be signed between Iran and China by the next two months, said Spokesman of Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) Behrouz Kamalvandi.

He said that Iran has selected China for cooperation in this field, because it is more dependent and less pressed by West’s possible pressures.

Redesigning the reactor should not be confused with the topic of negotiations, he said, adding, “We have made progress technically and definitely it will be redesigned in due time.”

Kamalvandi said that Iran should conduct the redesigning and the Chinese side would check it technically, although certain countries including the US had expressed readiness for this plan.

He said Iran is likely to have the reactor checked by 4 or 5 other countries simultaneously after completing design of the reactor
