Tehran, March 10, IRNA – Supreme Leader Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei received members of the Assembly of Experts on Thursday.

Earlier in the day and prior to the meeting with the Supreme Leader, the outgoing members of the Assembly attended the mausoleum of the late Leader of the Islamic Revolution Imam Khomeini to pay tribute to the Founder of the Islamic Republic.

The Assembly members laid a wreath of flower on the tomb of Late Imam Khomeini respecting the high aspiration of the Architect of the Islamic Revolution.

The final meetings of the outgoing Assembly of Experts took place on March 8-9 when they speculated on Iran's most recent and major developments.

Memebers of the fifth Assembly of Experts were elected in a recent poll.

The Assembly will convene with its new members on May 25.
