Vienna, Jan 16, IRNA – Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif and the European Union foreign policy chief Federica Mogherini met here Saturday conferring on the progress towards final implementation of the nuclear agreement.

The meeting is also to focus on the latest coordination before the final report of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) that is to be released today.

By its report, the IAEA will verify Iran's actions towards its commitments to the July agreement better known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA).

Under the JCPOA, limits are put on Iran’s nuclear activities in exchange for, among other things, the removal of all nuclear-related economic and financial sanctions against the Islamic Republic.
