Senior clerics urge Iranians to be vigilant against new seditions

Tehran, December 30, The Iran Project – Top Iranian clerics have denounced the 2009 post presidential election seditious move, urging Iranian people to be vigilant against new seditions.

Senior Iranian cleric Grand Ayatollah Hossein Nouri-Hamedani said on Wednesday that the 2009 post presidential election seditious move was the result of Islamic revolution enemies’ hatred, demanding Iranian people to be vigilant against new seditions.

Referring to December 30 event, which falls on Dey 9th on the Persian calendar rallies in support of Islamic establishment, he said Iranian people put an end to the post-election unrest in the country and nipped the sedition against the Islamic establishment in the bud.

Grand Ayatollah Seyyed Mohammad-Ali Alavi-Gorgani also referred to the anniversary of “9-Dey” epic, saying that in 2009 some people, following the evil, misled our youth and brought a lot of human and financial losses to the nation and government.

On Dec. 30, 9 Dey in the Iranian calendar, pro-government protesters rallied to condemn those who desecrated Islamic sanctities in the demonstrations made to protest the results of Iran’s 2009 presidential elections.
