Rasht, Gilan Prov, July 7, IRNA – The direct flight between Rasht in this northern Iranian province and Turkey's Istanbul and vice versa was launched for the first time, an official at Sardar Jangal International Airport said here Tuesday.


The first flight between Rasht and Istanbul and vice versa will take off on June 9. It will continue weekly, Fattah Rezvani said.

As this northern province is a great spectacular region for tourists, it has much more interaction with different airlines compared with other provinces, said he.
