Iran celebrates National Army Day in Turkey

TEHRAN, Apr. 17 (MNA) – Iran's Armed Forces held parades in Turkey to mark the Iranian National Army Day which due in April 18.




Iran’s National Army Day was celebrated today in Ankara, Turkey in the presence of military affiliated groups of different countries, Iranian military officials and different authorities from political, cultural and media fields.


Different authorities from various levels of military ranks attended the ceremony, including Major General of Turkish Army, Deputy Commander of the Ground and Navy Forces, tens of commanders and senior ranking officers of the General Staff of the Turkish Army, dozens of ambassadors, military dependents and police liaison officers from various foreign countries, especially the European countries and also news media representatives and other cultural and economic officials and political figures in Turkey.


Army Day is an opportunity for military dependents to raise issues on the field. This annual holiday, which is due in April 18, commemorates the anniversary of the establishment of the Islamic Republic of Iran Army.


The main venue of the talks between diplomats, military dependents and reporters was focused on Iran’s nuclear talks with Western countries, invasion of Saudi Arabia to Yemen, Killing civilians and also calling for an immediate ceasefire, dispatching humanitarian aid for the Yemeni people and establishing a diplomatic mechanism to end the crisis in the Arab country.
