31 Dec 2014 - 8:43

Tehran, Dec 30, IRNA – Iran and Iraq signed an MoU on Tuesday according to which Tehran promised to cooperate with Baghdad to refurbish Iraqi National Army to protect the country's national sovereignty and territorial integrity.
The agreement was signed by visiting Iraqi Minister of Defence Khaled al-Obeidi and his Iranian counterpart Brigadier-General Hossein Dehqan, during their second round of talks in Tehran.
The two defense ministers specified the areas for defensive cooperation and called for implementation of the agreements already signed between Iran and Iraq.

Following a visit to an exhibition of Iran's defense capabilities earlier in the day, al-Obeidi said that Iranian defensive products are highly advanced and comparable with high-quality international products.
