29 Aug 2014 - 18:24

Tehran, Aug 29, IRNA - Tehran?s Interim Friday Prayers Leader Ayatollah Kazem Sediqi congratulated Gaza victory to Palestinian people as well as the resistance movements.
Addressing worshippers in his second sermon, Hojjatoleslam Sediqi noted that Zionists? raid on Gaza brought them nothing but defeat and people?s hatred.
Sediqi voiced hope for libration of all Syrian and Iraqi territories occupied by the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (better known as Daesh).

The cleric asked all Iraqi people to support the new administration against terrorist groups.

He also prayed for the resolution of all problems in the Muslim world including the political crisis in Yemen.

Representatives of the Palestinian resistance movement and Israel on Tuesday reached a deal on a long-term ceasefire.

The truce will rid the territory of its seven-year-old blockade.

Israel launched an aerial military onslaught against Gaza since early July 8 and later expanded its operation with a ground invasion.

More than 2,137 Palestinians, including around 570 children, have been killed so far in the Israeli atrocities on Gaza. Some 11,000 others have been wounded.

Most of the victims were civilians, including children, women and the elderly.

Tel Aviv says 68 Israeli soldiers were killed in the conflict, but Hamas puts the deaths of Israeli soldiers at more than 150.
