29 Aug 2014 - 14:13

TEHRAN (FNA)- Iranian Envoy to Qatar Mohammad Javad Asayesh underlined Tehran and Doha's eagerness to expand their all-out relations, specially in political and trade fields.
Noting that Iran-Qatar Political Committee will convene in Tehran on September 11, Asayesh said on Wednesday that the committee will focus on enhancement of political, economic and commercial cooperation between Tehran and Doha.

He made the remarks in a meeting with deputy governor-general of the Southern province of Bushehr Reza Avazpour.

Asayesh said that opening up the Iran-Qatar Trade Center in Bushehr will help boost exports from the province.

Both Iran and Qatar have recently augmented efforts to further expand ties and cooperation in all the different political, economic, defense, security and cultural fields.

The two Persian Gulf littoral states recently signed several protocols to increase mutual cooperation.
