Iran's negative answer from Baghdad to Moscow

22 Dec 2014 - 23:13

Negotiations between Iran and P5+1 will be held in Moscow next month. There are various speculations on it, when and how will Iran’s nuclear talks end?

After the inconclusive negotiations in Baghdad, the IAEA reported that samples taken in February showed particles with enrichment levels of 27 percent grade uranium. The report came a day after six world powers failed to convince Iran to halt its most sensitive nuclear work at talks in Baghdad, Reuters reported.

Iran’s permanent representative to the IAEA, Ali Asghar Soltanieh stated, “this matter is a routine technical discussion that is currently being reviewed by experts.”

Iran didn’t answer and called it as the West’s propaganda to show Iran’s peaceful nuclear activities inversely.

But what would be the main issue? There is two points. First, the IAEA tries to enlarge a technical issue and makes propaganda against Iran. Second, Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei said, “Iran does not have weapons and is not seeking to build them, but if we are attacked at any level we would make proper reactions, neither more nor less.”

It can be concluded an outright message to western powers if Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei remarks and the IAEA report of 27 percent uranium enrichment are considered both together.

Building nuclear weapons is not unexpected, in such circumstances that tough economic sanctions imposed on Iran and it is being threatened to military strike, as well.

In fact, Iran is in the situation of a scorpion. When a scorpion is surrounded by enemy, it uses its sting to kill itself. Building nuclear weapons is considered as a suicide to Iran.

On the other side, “using nuclear weapons is against the Islamic rules,” according to Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei remarks. He stated building and maintenance of nuclear weapons are not permissible.

Besides, if the West does not negotiate, Iran warns that it is capable of building nuclear weapons if it is necessary by finding uranium particles enriched up to 27 percent.
