Enemies failure in Syria not meaning end of plots: Iran official
IRNA Head of Irans Strategic Council on Foreign Relations Kamal Kharrazi said that failure of the enemies during military operations in Syria does not mean the end of conspiracies, as the West is seeking a new sedition.

In a meeting with the deputy secretary general of Syrias Baath Party in Damascus, he added that of course, on the military scene, the country is facing problems caused by the US, Turkey and terrorists, which will hopefully be solved soon.

Kharrazi also warned against the influence of countries opposed to Syria in its cultural and economic issues.

Syria needs reconstruction and economic prosperity. Therefore, certain countries such as Saudi Arabia and UAE are seeking to infiltrate the country, he said.

Hailing the role of Syrias Baath Party in foiling plots against the country, he called for more efforts to be made in the field.

The deputy secretary general of Syrias Baath Party, Helal al-Helal, for his part, said that since all the enemies of Syria were worried about unity between Iran and Hezbollah, they crated crises in the country.
Iran will play a crucial role in the countrys reconstruction, he said, noting that countries which were standing beside the Syrian nation and government under critical conditions will assume a pivotal role in its reconstruction.

The Syrian government and Baath Party are insisting on friendship with Iran and resistance movement, he said, hoping that such ties would be further strengthened during reconstruction era.

The Baath Party was set up in Syria in 1963 and was the only ruling party in the country prior to the compilation of Constitution.

Syrian President Bashar Assad is still secretary general of the Baath Party.
