Iranian, Turkish FMs hold phone conversation

ISNA– Iranian foreign minister Mohammad Javad Zarif and his Turkish counterpart Mevlut Cavusoglu held a phone conversation on Tuesday.

During the phone call, Zarif and Cavusoglu discussed the recent events in Iran.

Meanwhile, Turkish foreign ministry stressed that external interventions should be avoided during ongoing events in Iran.

“Iran is a friend and brotherly country to Turkey, which attributes great importance for the preservation of social peace and stability” it said on Tuesday.
